     Craig S Snyder is a professional guitar teacher and performer based in the greater Rochester, New York area. His education includes an AS degree in music and a BA degree in Jazz Guitar Studies from SUNY Empire State College of New York. Current teaching positions include Finger Lakes Community College and the Hochstein School of Music and Dance; both schools are located in Canandaigua, New York. Instruction includes private guitar and bass guitar lessons in addition to the directing duties of electric ensembles at both schools. The Craig Snyder Fusion Group plays a variety of vocal and instrumental music that ranges from classic blues and danceable rock/pop to the progressive jazz/rock of Beck, Holdsworth, and Metheny and Steely Dan, as well as original music. Careful planning and thoughtful effort is put into each arrangement to showcase the talent of each player in the group. A rotating roster of Rochester's finest musicans is enlisted to satisfy the needs and wants of the patrons and the management of each venue. Craig appeared in the July 2007 issue of Guitar Player Magazine in the Editor's Big Eight Column for superior playing ability. Leni Stern nicknamed Craig "Chops Of Doom".
